Christmas menu 2008


 

Starters

Woodland mushroom and puff pastry stack with madeira cream sauce
Soup of honey roast parsnip with parsnip crisps
Mussels in white wine lemon cream and garlic with fresh bread
Crispy duck salad with sesame oil, hoi sin, red chard, spinach and radish


Mains

Traditional turkey with stuffing, sausages in bacon and cranberry & orange compote
Roast beef with homemade yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce
Lamb rump on caramelised roasted vegetables with a red wine and redcurrant jus
pan-fried sea bream on roasted leeks, courgette and slow roasted tomatoes with a citrus butter
baked goats cheese, aubergine and tomato stack with balsamic reduction and pesto
All served with rosemary roasted new potatoes and seasonal vegetables


Desserts

White chocolate and cranberry cheesecake
Gooey chocolate brownies
Winterberry crème brulee
Baked spiced apple crumble with custard or ice cream
Christmas pudding with brandy sauce
Cheese and biscuits

We can now cater for larger parties, approx 70 seated in 3 sections, as we have a new area upstairs that will take an extra 25 people.
However large or small your party we just need a deposit and a pre order
